Custom Precision Components

Tuguan Semiconductor’s core business is drawing-based custom fabrication. Most semiconductor process components are application-specific — we manufacture to your engineering drawings, CAD files, or physical samples.

How to Order Custom Parts

Option A — Engineering Drawing

Submit a 2D drawing (PDF, DWG, DXF) with:

  • All critical dimensions and tolerances
  • Surface finish requirements (Ra or equivalent)
  • Material specification (grade, purity)
  • Any special inspection or documentation requirements, such as leak testing, material analysis, or crystal-orientation review

Our team will review the drawing and follow up with quotation details, manufacturability notes, and estimated lead time based on scope.

Option B — CAD File (3D Model)

Submit a STEP or IGES 3D model. Our engineers extract a 2D working drawing for your approval before production begins.

Option C — Reverse Engineering (Physical Sample)

Send a worn or broken component for measurement. We will:

  1. Review critical dimensions using the appropriate measurement method
  2. Identify material by available records, visual inspection, or arranged analysis when required
  3. Generate a 2D drawing for your approval
  4. Manufacture replacement parts after geometry and material requirements are confirmed

Design for Manufacturability Support

Our application engineers can advise on:

TopicGuidance
Tolerance assignmentWhich tolerances are achievable vs. unnecessarily tight
Wall thickness minimumsStructural limits for drilling and thin-wall sections
Corner radiiMinimum achievable internal radii
Surface finish requirementsWhat Ra is actually needed for each surface
Material selectionWhich grade offers the best performance/cost trade-off

This service is free — we prefer to get the design right before production begins.

Lead Time Factors

Lead time depends on drawing complexity, material availability, quantity, processing steps, and inspection requirements. Prototype and batch orders are reviewed after drawings, samples, or specifications are received.

Quality Documentation

Documentation can be discussed based on order requirements and may include:

  • Dimensional inspection records for agreed critical features
  • Material certificates depending on material source and order scope
  • Certificate of conformance or project-specific quality documents when applicable
  • Additional QC requirements specified at order placement
